Recently, I was invited to be a NOM's brand ambassador and joined them for a tasting at Spatula Bakery. Located at Frankel Avenue, along the stretch where Dutch Colony is, is where Spatula Bakery stands. Besides cakes, waffles, macarons, brownies and ice cream, there is also a selection of drinks including their best-selling Butterscotch and Nutella milkshakes.
Speculoos fan with sweet tooth would rejoice at this Speculoos Milkshake. The milkshake has a vanilla chocolate chip ice cream base with Speculoos added.

Presentation wise, there is no latte art and the generous dollop of nutella has also masked the taste of the coffee blend (brazil + columbia beans). However if you like your coffee to be sweet, you may like this.

There is a good variety of pretty cupcakes available at the cake counter.
|Dough or don’t cake ($7.50)|
Dough or don't cake is a vanilla chocolate chip cake with layers filled with chocolate chip cookie dough and frosted with vanilla whipped cream. A treat for the sweet tooth and old school cake lover.
|Ridiculoos Spectaculoos waffle ($13), Red velvet Nutella waffle ($13), Smores waffle ($12)|
There is an array of waffles available. From the usual waffles to red velvet waffles to waffle filled with melted marhmallows, melted chocolate and biscuit crumbs.
Thank you NOM's for the media tasting to Spatula. For those who have yet to know about NOM's, it is a café-hopping membership club. The membership allows members to enjoy exclusive club privileges when they dine at selected partner cafés in SG and JB. Members are also entitled to priority booking and preferential rates when they attend NOM’s food and lifestyle events.
Good news for my readers, simply key in "HannahxNoms" to enjoy the membership at $9.90 per year. The usual membership fee is $15 per year which is about $1 per month. =)
